Committee Overview The Storm Drainage Committee conducts studies of storm drain and flooding issues within the Village, and makes proposals and recommendations to the Mayor and Village Board of Trustees.
A Stormwater System Master Plan was drafted with Donohue & Associates, Inc. in February 2025. The project consisted a review of the Village’s stormwater system to identify current bottlenecks, flooding issues, undersized storm sewers, and stormwater detention issues, and create a 20-year master plan for stormwater system improvements.
The Storm Drainage Committee meetings are scheduled as needed, and they are held at the Village of Rantoul Municipal Building in the Conference Room located at 333 S. Tanner Street, Rantoul, IL 61866.
