The Recreation Department is proud to partner with the Kids Foundation of Rantoul, which provides assistance to families in the community for Recreation programs for children up to the age of 16.

Senior Luncheons-join us for the 2023 senior luncheons.  

Silver Sneakers

 Are you 65+ and looking to improve your over all well-being, strength and social aspects?  Then Silver Sneakers is what you are looking for.  Contact your insurance provider to see if you qualify, then simply stop by the Recreation office and sign up for your free pass today.  For more information please visit the Silver Sneakers website.  

Woodworking Shop

 The shop is open to the public on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, 6-9pm and Saturday mornings, 8-11am.  The shop is located in the Recreation Building.  

Garden Plots

 The Recreation Department offers 2 locations for garden plots rental, North Dr Park and Layman St (south of the Recreation Building).  Plots are reserved starting April 1, and the cost is $25 for the first and $12.50 for each additional, we offer a 50% discount for seniors.

Rules of the Road Courses

 Courses are occasionally held at the Recreation Building to review the Rules of the Road and are instructed by the Secretary of State, please visit cyberdriveillinois, to stay up to date on their schedule.
