The mission of the Village of Rantoul Human Resources Department is to provide leadership and support in the areas of hiring, developing, training, retaining, and protecting the Village's workforce.
The Village of Rantoul is a growing and prosperous community in the heart of central Illinois located in northern Champaign County. The county has a population of approximately 212,000, with 13,000 residing within the Village. Our community is home to several well-known employers, and boasts excellent school and health care systems. A wide variety of entertainment, sports, arts, and other activities provide a relaxing and well-rounded atmosphere.
The Village employs approximately 375 employees annually, of which 130 are full-time. Applications for full-time employment are only accepted when a position is available. Seasonal applications are accepted throughout the year. The majority of seasonal positions are filled between the months of February and May.
